Our Mission

Our Values

We don’t just train athletes, we develop leaders. Our roots are grounded in five values that shape who we are and how we show up.

  • Empowerment is about helping athletes believe in themselves and take ownership of their growth.

At Evergreen, we want athletes to feel confident using their voice, asking questions, receiving feedback, and stepping into challenges. We believe athletes grow when they feel supported, trusted, and encouraged to take responsibility for their development.

    Empowerment looks like:

    • Building confidence through preparation and feedback

    • Helping athletes understand their strengths

    • Encouraging athletes to advocate for themselves

    • Creating space for athletes to ask questions and learn

    • Supporting athletes as they take ownership of their role on the team

  • Evolution means always learning, adapting, and growing.

We believe athletes and coaches are never finished developing. Growth happens through feedback, reflection, challenge, and the willingness to keep improving. At Evergreen, we value progress over perfection and encourage athletes to stay curious, coachable, and open to change. Evolution also means staying current in an ever-changing sport by embracing new ideas, applying evidence-based training methods, and continually seeking better ways to develop athletes and teams.

    Evolution looks like:

    • Learning from mistakes instead of avoiding them

    • Staying open to feedback

    • Building better habits over time

    • Adapting to new roles, challenges, and expectations

    • Staying informed and embracing innovation

    • Committing to continuous improvement

  • Resilience is the ability to respond to adversity with composure, strength, and determination.

Volleyball gives athletes constant opportunities to face pressure, mistakes, tough losses, difficult practices, and moments of uncertainty. At Evergreen, we help athletes develop tools to reset, refocus, and keep competing with purpose.

    Resilience looks like:

    • Responding to mistakes with composure

    • Staying engaged during pressure moments

    • Bouncing back after setbacks

    • Supporting teammates through challenges

    • Choosing effort and attitude even when things are difficult

  • Leadership is not limited to captains or the loudest voices in the room.

At Evergreen, leadership is shown through actions, attitude, communication, and the way athletes impact those around them. We believe every athlete has the ability to lead by showing up with consistency, encouraging teammates, taking responsibility, and contributing positively to team culture.

    Leadership looks like:

    • Communicating with purpose

    • Encouraging and supporting teammates

    • Holding yourself accountable

    • Leading through effort and attitude

    • Contributing to a positive team environment

    • Making choices that reflect the team’s shared standards

  • Performance is about pursuing excellence with purpose.

At Evergreen, performance is not just about the scoreboard. It is about preparation, focus, consistency, accountability, and doing the little things well. We train athletes to compete with confidence by building strong technical skills, physical readiness, mental clarity, and team connection.

    Performance looks like:

    • Training with intention

    • Preparing physically and mentally

    • Competing with confidence and focus

    • Taking pride in details and execution

    • Holding high standards for effort and growth

    • Bringing skill, mindset, and preparation together when it matters
