Fees & Commitment

Overview

The Evergreen Club Volleyball season runs from November to May. Teams practice 2–3 times per week and implement a physical training program depending on age group and team level. Tournaments are typically held on weekends, with teams traveling to compete across Alberta, nationally, and/or internationally.

At Evergreen, we are committed to preparing athletes for every aspect of high-performance training and competition. Since each club varies in what’s included, we want families to clearly understand what our fees cover.

Evergreen club fees focus on competition, training, development, apparel, travel support, and coaching excellence.

Commitment

We ask all athletes to attend practices and competitions consistently. Development takes time and trust. Both are built through being present. Athletes are expected to communicate early if they are unable to attend, and to arrive prepared and ready to contribute to their team.

We support well-rounded athletes and understand the value of multi-sport participation. That said, communication is key. Athletes balancing other sports or commitments should speak with coaches early in the season to plan accordingly.

Commitment at Evergreen is about more than volleyball. It’s about building character, resilience, and leadership that lasts. Our athletes are challenged to grow as competitors and teammates, learning to lead, overcome adversity, train physically, and bring purpose to everything they do.

Fees

  • 13U: $2200–$2400 (Not being offered for 2026/27)

  • 14U: $2200–$2400 (Not being offered for 2026/27)

  • 15U: $2600–$2800

  • 16U: $2600–$2800 (Not being offered for 2026/27)

  • 17U: $2900–$3300

  • 18U: $2900–$3300

Costs vary based on the number of athletes on a team and the number of coaching staff rostered.

Included in Club Fees

    • Gym rentals for practices each week

      • 12U-14U = 2 per week

      • 15U-18U = 3 per week

    • Strength & conditioning sessions with Toby Zeigler

      • 12U-14U = bi-weekly

      • 15U-16U = 1 per week

      • 17U-18U = 2 per week

    • Sports psychology & mindset training program

    • Video analysis & athlete highlights

    • Off-season strength training program (for 16U-18U athletes to be completed individually)

    • Pre-season tournament(s)

    • All Volleyball Alberta Premier Events

    • Provincials

    • Volleyball Canada Nationals registration fee (pending lottery)

    • 2 sublimated Jumplete jerseys (3 at the 17U & 18U level)

    • Artizia team hoodie and sweatpants

    • 1 practice shirt (with number)

    • 2 warm-up shirts (open to company logos through sponsorship)

    • 1 set of Jumplete knee pads or socks

    • Custom lululemon team backpack with bag tag (only order once unless you would like to order a new one)

    • Team equipment and medical supplies

    • Equipment upkeep and repairs

    • Team bonding activity fund

    • Athlete lunches for all out-of-town tournaments

    • Team media day photography

    • Volleyball Alberta, Volleyball Canada, and private club insurance

    • Coach honorariums

    • Coach registration fees (VA & VC)

    • Certification & training programs

    • Coach accommodations, transportation, and food allowance for all out-of-town tournaments

Not Included in Club Fees

    • Tryout & open gym fees

    • Sportlomo registration fees (tryout & player)

    • Athlete accommodations & travel for:

      • Out-of-town VA Premier/Provincial tournaments

      • Volleyball Canada Nationals

    • International or optional domestic travel tournaments outside of standard schedule, including tournament registration and associated fees

    • Additional apparel or Evergreen fan gear

Payment

    • Deposit upon signing

    • In full upon signing, or

    • In two installments:

      • December 1 & February 1

  • We are committed to making Evergreen accessible to all athletes.

  • Once tryouts conclude and athlete signings are confirmed, club fees are non-refundable under any circumstance, including injury, illness, or withdrawal.

    Fees are distributed evenly across athletes and directly fund team training, travel, and staffing.
