New to Evergreen or returning for another season? This page outlines everything you need to know about open gyms, tryouts, and how to join one of our club teams. Summer Open Gyms

Evergreen hosts open gym sessions during the summer to give athletes a chance to get on the court, connect with our coaches, and get a feel for our training environment before tryouts begin. These sessions are not evaluations, but they may lead to opportunities to compete on an Evergreen team. Registrations will open at the end of May.

Registering for Tryouts

  1. Sign up for your age group Evergreen tryout. Tyrouts will be posted in the summer of 2026.

    • Double-check the date, time, and location

    • Pay the $20 tryout fee online, by cash at the door, or by e-transfer (contact@evergreenathletes.com)

  2. Navigate to Volleyball Alberta’s How To Register Page and click Register to Volleyball Alberta. You may also use the blue image link.

  3. Use the Sportlomo Member Registration Portal for Volleyball Alberta Membership and select the 2027 Youth Development Player – Tryout.

  4. Sign up or log in to Sportlomo.

  5. Complete the membership process and complete the consent package.

After Receiving & Signing a LOI

  1. Navigate to Volleyball Alberta’s How To Register Page and click Register to Your Club. You may also use the blue image link.

  2. Select Evergreen Volleyball Club from the list of clubs.

  3. The page will scroll down to the bottom, where you will select the 2027 Youth Competitive Player – Indoor option.

  4. Click the Register/Renew button.

  5. Log in to Sportlomo and complete the membership process and registration with our team.
