Pump-Up Song: NFL by Lil Uzi Vert
Sean has spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach with SAS Thunder Gold, working with athletes in the U16–U18 age groups. During that time, he’s helped players gain confidence, clean up their game, and get more comfortable competing at a higher level.
He’s been around volleyball for over 10 years, playing with a variety of clubs in the Edmonton area as a middle and right side. That background still shapes how he looks at the game and the way he works with athletes.
Sean is currently studying Computer Science at the University of Alberta and plans to pursue a degree in Education after finishing his undergrad.
He’s really excited to be a part of Evergreen and what the club is building. As a coach, he wants athletes to actually enjoy being in the gym and feel like they can grow without pressure to be perfect. He also puts a strong emphasis on athletes learning how to advocate for themselves and take ownership of their development.

Coach Ainsley’s volleyball journey is rooted in the Alberta volleyball community for nearly three decades. Her journey began in Barrhead (AB) playing first as an outside hitter and later a middle blocker/hitter at Barrhead Composite High School from 1997-2003.
Her passion for sport and for the game led to a natural transition into coaching. Upon starting her teaching career in 2008, Ainsley began coaching junior high and high school teams in schools, later expanding into club volleyball in 2022. She is trained as an NCCP Development Coach (Level 1) and Advanced Development Coach (Level 2).
Combining her background as an educator and an athlete, Coach Ainsley specializes in bridging the gap between high-level athletics and personal development. She is deeply committed to supporting athletes who want to pursue their goals of competing at an elite level and securing post-secondary opportunities to continue growing their game past youth volleyball.
