Emily has been coaching volleyball since 2018 and brings a wealth of experience to the Evergreen community. She grew up playing club volleyball and has since coached numerous camps and clinics, sharing her knowledge and passion for the game with athletes of all ages. Her expertise lies in developing young athletes and refining setting skills, where she has made a strong impact through specialized clinics and team coaching. In her first season as a head coach, she led the MCHS Junior Girls to the city finals, and she has also coached 14U-15U club teams in the past. Emily has worked with Volleyball Alberta through their GO League programs, supported local teams and programs in her community, and most recently coached with the PSAA Sports Academy volleyball program. She is currently pursuing her Education degree at the University of Alberta. Emily is excited to be back for a second season as part of the Evergreen community and looks forward to continuing to inspire athletes while sharing her love for the sport.

Cassidy is a dedicated volleyball coach with over 10 years of experience, working with athletes of all age groups. She is passionate about fostering an environment where athletes can grow both on and off the court, emphasizing personal development as much as athletic skills.

Cassidy is a certified NCCP Level 1 coach with three years of experience playing on the Concordia University of Edmonton volleyball team, where she served as captain for two years.

Cassidy’s coaching philosophy centers around the belief that success on the court is built on a foundation of hard work, discipline, and mutual respect. She strives to create an environment where athletes, especially young women, are encouraged to push their limits, both physically and mentally, while maintaining a love for the game.

Sofia is an Evergreen alumni and former 18U outside hitter who has grown tremendously through two seasons with the club. Known for her exceptional athleticism, relentless work ethic, and positive energy, she embodies the values and culture that make Evergreen unique.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science at MacEwan University, Sofia is excited to begin her coaching journey and give back to the program that helped shape her as both an athlete and a person. As an outstanding teammate and a driving force behind team culture, she brings a fun, enthusiastic, and encouraging presence that naturally connects with younger athletes.

Sofia is passionate about helping young athletes develop their volleyball skills, build confidence, find a second family, and discover the same love for the game that she found at Evergreen.
