Evergreen Travel Policy

Evergreen Volleyball Club is committed to providing a safe and well-organized travel experience for all athletes in collaboration with families while maintaining appropriate supervision and communication throughout the season.

Provincials, Premiers, and Nationals

For all travel associated with Provincials, Premiers, and Nationals, athletes are required to stay with a parent or guardian, or another responsible adult who has been authorized by the athlete's parent or guardian.

Additional Out-Of-Town Tournaments

For additional out-of-town tournaments that are not part of the regularly scheduled season, athletes may stay in athlete-assigned hotel rooms under the supervision of Evergreen Volleyball Club coaches and designated team staff. Athletes will be assigned to gender-appropriate rooms and will be provided with the hotel room numbers of their supervising coach or designated adult. Gender-appropriate supervisors will conduct nightly room checks to ensure athletes are present and adhering to team expectations. A final room inspection will also be completed prior to hotel check-out to ensure rooms are left clean and undamaged.

Family Collaboration

Hotel accommodations for out-of-town tournaments are the responsibility of each team's parent manager or travel coordinator, who will coordinate bookings through the club's preferred travel partner:

Athletes are expected to follow all Evergreen Volleyball Club policies and team expectations while traveling, recognizing that they are representing both their team and the Club throughout the duration of the trip.
